In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, (October 26, 2004) Bush confirms he believes that homosexuals were born homosexual, he supports homosexual civil unions, believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God, and believes and non-christian and Moslems are going to Heaven:
Bush: "I don't think we should deny people rights to a civil union, a legal arrangement if a state chooses to do so."
Gibson: But the (Republican) platform opposes it.
Bush: Well, I don't. I view the definition of marriage different from legal arrangements than to enable people who have rights."

Bush: I think we do. We have different routes to getting to the Almighty.
Gibson: Does Ben Laden...pray to the same God that you and I do?
